About the film

“Barista” is a motion picture intended for theatrical release, VOD (video on demand) and DVD distribution in the United States and abroad. “Barista” is a high-concept contemporary drama with elements of classic thriller and attributes of romance, inner-struggle, escalating conflict and some violence. The engaging, character-driven story balances between realism and fantasy and conveys a positive message: Love conquers evil because its power comes from making you want to be a better person.

Initially, “Barista”  script was written for a short film to be produced in the fall of 2011, with the budget of $100,000. When the project entered the development phase and was presented to several film industry professionals, they recognized the marketing potential of “Barista’s” original storyline and encouraged the writers/producers to expand it into a full–length feature film.

“Barista” project will enter the production stage upon securing the financing of the film.
